US 30265 Apply Health and Safety Risk Assessment to a Job Role

Unit Standard 30265  |  Level 3  |  Credits 8

  • Learning Outcome 1 – Describe each principle of the risk assessment process in terms of workplace health and safety.
  • Learning Outcome 2 – Apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice.

In Aotearoa, plenty of training providers offer US 30265 as a quick 4-8 hour tick box course, often remote, self paced and without any real guidance.  The problem?  Learners finish without truly understanding how to apply the process in their workplace, or feeling confident enough to complete a risk assessment on their own.

At Elite Safety Training, we do it differently.  Our programme is hands on, guided by qualified trainers, and contextualised to your actual job role.  You won’t just “pass” the unit – you’ll leave with the skills, confidence, helpful resources, and practical experience to assess risks in the real world.  You also walk away with a fully completed risk assessment, that can be used as a practical resource and good practice guide!  And the best part?  Our lead trainer and assessor is also a qualified H & S Consultant, so you can trust we know our stuff!
