TTM Worker – 1 Day Workshop (US 31958)  

Your TTM Training starts with the TTM Worker Workshop & Unit Standard 31958.  This 1 day workshop is an introduction to Temporary Traffic Management and coaches people new to the Traffic Management Industry the basics of safely working on the road.  The workshop includes theory and practical tasks.
 

Traffic Management Operative (TMO) Non-Practicing Workshop (Unit Standard 31959) 

This One-Day Workshop replaces the TC (Traffic Controller) workshop. This workshop can also act as a refresher to your TC/TMO qualification.  The trainee will learn the theoretical knowledge of the TMO role.

Traffic Management Operative (TMO) 2 Day Practical Training Block (Unit Standard 31960)

This 2 day training block covers the following: Day 1 – Mentor verifications and mentoring; Day 2 – Assessment tasks.  This will teach the trainee how to maintain closures, undertake inspection activities; and installing, maintain and removing a shoulder closure. 

Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) Universal Non-Practicing Workshop (Unit Standard 31961)

This 2 day workshop covers general knowledge for the STMS Cat A, B, C learning blocks and the STMS Mobile learning block.  The STMS Universal workshop is run in conjunction with the STMS Cat AB NP Workshop or the STMS Mobile workshop.  

Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) Cat A/B Non Practicing Workshop (US 31962)

This 1.5 day workshop provides base knowledge of working on Category A and B roading environments.  This is theory behind the STMS role.

STMS A/B Practicing Warrant:  To gain the STMS practicing qualification you will need to complete verifications and assessments (see next block)

 

STMS Practicing Qualification (US 31963) 

To complete a practical assessment for US 31963, you must have first completed 2 TTM closures per category of road you require your qualification on.  Those closures need to  be verified and signed off by a TTM Mentor/verifier.  You can then complete your assessment(s).

 

 

 

Refresher:  STMS Cat AB/C Non Practicing Refresher Workshop

This 1 day workshop will form a measure of competency for you and/or your team.  From 1 November it will no longer be compulsory to attend a refresher workshop.  You as a company will need to decide how often you need to refresh your team’s TTM qualifications and competency.  Elite Safety will continue to provide the STMS Refresher workshop as a way for people to maintain competency in general knowledge and industry updates of the STMS Role. Inspector Workshop

This 1 day Workshop is designed for people undertaking non-invasive activities where workers are on foot and have minimum interference with the road user.  The workshop covers theory and practical tasks.  

 

 

 

STMS Mobile Waka Kotahi Warrant

  1. This half day workshop will give the trainee a non practicing STMS Mobile warrant.  This provides the leaerner wtih the base knowledge for undertaking mobile operations on either a Cat A or B road or the shoulder of a Cat C Road.  This warrant is not approprirate if the person is required to be in charge of mobile operations to install, maintain and remove TTM at static worksites.
  2. You will then need to complete 2 verifications and an assessment with our TTM assessor to gain the STMS Mobile Practicing Warrant.
