Aaron Scott – Managing Director & TTM Everything Man!

Aaron has over 20+ years experience in training and all things TTM. Additonially, Aaron is a qualified TTM Planner and Health and Safety Consultant.
With a deep passion for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) and Health & Safety, Aaron specialises in providing expert advice, consulting, auditing, and documentation preparation for businesses of all sizes.
Aaron’s approach to training is centered around leading change in the TTM industry, where I combine my practical experience with the New Zealand Guide to TTM. As a Private Training Establishment, Aaron is excited to mentor and share his knowledge to help others excel in TTM & Health and Safety practices.
Before Aaron’s current role, Aaron worked in contracting and film industries, and has contributed to large-scale sports and concert events across New Zealand. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys hunting, playing drums, and embracing the outdoors in Queenstown with family.
Sarah Gaston-Scott – Academic Director
This move came during a pivotal time with significant changes in the TTM industry, including a new NZTA warrant structure, the introduction of the NZ Guide to TTM, and now the new NZQA framework for TTM.
At Elite Safety and Elite Safety Training, Sarah leverages the organisational skills built, to excel in her role. Her experience in relationship management within the financial sector has honed her communication abilities, both verbal and written, enabling her to effectively connect with our clients and trainees. Sarah also have extensive knowledge of the new TTM Credentials Framework.
This unique blend of skills ensures that Sarah contributes to the success and growth of Elite Safety and Elite Safety Training while navigating the evolving landscape of Temporary Traffic Management.
Luke Murphy – Trainer & Assessor
Master of Engineering (with an endorsement in Transportation); NZCATT; TTM Risk Assessment Trainer and Assessor
Luke is a senior traffic management specialist with more than 10 years of hands-on operational and technical experience. Alongside his role as Managing Director of Qualis, he is also a trainer for Elite Safety Training.
Throughout his career, Luke has worked as an STMS across Categories A, B and C, Traffic Manager, Approving Engineer, Traffic Management Coordinator, national auditor and industry subject matter expert. This broad experience allows him to bring both practical knowledge and a strong technical understanding to the training room.
Luke holds a Master of Engineering in Civil–Transportation and the Temporary Traffic Management Risk Assessment micro-credential. He is also qualified to deliver training and assess learners for this micro-credential.
Luke has delivered training to Road Controlling Authority teams throughout the South Island and supported NZTA’s RTTM transition team during the move towards a risk-based approach and the NZGTTM. He enjoys making complex technical requirements easier to understand and showing learners how they apply to real-world TTM planning, assurance and auditing.
Jordan Renalson – Trainer & Assessor
Jordan has more than 10 years of hands-on experience in civil construction and temporary traffic management . Alongside his role as Managing Director of JR Civil Ltd, he is also a trainer for Elite Safety Training.
As the owner of JR Civil, Jordan has worked across everything from private driveways to large-scale civil projects and events.
Jordan is a TTM Planner, a Connexis Assessor and holds the NZ Cert in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (NZCATT). His broad operational experience means he brings practical, real-world knowledge into the training room.
He is passionate about helping people build their skills and creating training opportunities that can open the door to long-term careers in traffic management.
Jordan’s training reflects the same reliable, down-to-earth and practical approach he brings to his work in the industry.
