Aaron Scott

I am a qualified Waka Kotahi (NZTA) and Connexis TTM Trainer, Mentor and Assessor, with 15+ years experience in training and all things TTM.  Additonially, I am a qualified TTM Planner and Health and Safety Consultant.

With a deep passion for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) and Health & Safety, I specialise in providing expert advice, consulting, auditing, and documentation preparation for businesses of all sizes.

My approach to training is centered around leading change in the TTM industry, where I combine my practical experience with the New Zealand Guide to TTM. As a Private Training Establishment, I am excited to mentor and share my knowledge to help others excel in TTM & Health and Safety practices.

Before my current role, I worked in contracting and film industries, and have contributed to large-scale sports and concert events across New Zealand. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, playing drums, and embracing the outdoors in Queenstown with my family.

“By fostering a culture of safety and excellence, Elite Safety aims to improve the capability of the TTM industry, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of road workers, and the communities they serve”.

Sarah Gaston-Scott – Academic Director & Administration Manager

With an extensive background in the financial sector, having dedicated 16 years to a local bank, I transitioned to a full-time
role at Elite Safety in 2021.

This move came during a pivotal time with significant changes in the TTM industry, including a new NZTA warrant structure, the introduction of the NZ Guide to TTM, and now the new NZQA framework for TTM.

At Elite Safety and Elite Safety Training, I leverage my organisational skills to excel in my role. My experience in relationship management within the financial sector has honed my communication abilities, both verbal and written, enabling me to effectively connect with our clients and trainees. I also have extensive knowledge of the current Waka Kotahi (NZTA) qualification pathways and the new TTM Credentials Framework.

This unique blend of skills ensures that I contribute to the success and growth of Elite Safety and Elite Safety Training while navigating the evolving landscape of Temporary Traffic Management.
