This one day workshop will help you learn how to apply the theory knowledge from unit standard 33252 "Describe the principles and process for managing risk for an activity requiring TTM", in a real-world context and prepare you for your practical assessment.

This practical 2-hour workshop is designed to support Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) workers in developing real-world strategies for managing aggression and abuse on the road. Participants will learn simple, effective techniques to recognise early warning signs, stay calm under pressure, and communicate confidently when faced with conflict. Who it’s for: TTM Workers, TMOs, STMSs, and site supervisors. Duration: 2 hours Cost: $95 + GST per person

This is a nationally recognised micro-credential run by Elite Safety Training (NZQA-approved PTE) replacing the former Inspector Warrant role as of 30 June 2025. It equips learners with the skills to safely plan for, and carry out, low risk / low impact work within the road reserve.

This workshop gives you the knowledge to be able to manage mobile operations on a Cat A or B road, and on the shoulder of a Cat C road.

This 1 day workshop refreshes the STMS knowledge to a Non Practicing level. We will incorporate Unit Standard 31962 (Non Practicing STMS) into this training day.

This workshop is the next step up from TMO, and teaches you the theory behind the STMS role. If you are new to the STMS role, you must attend this workshop before progressing to the STMS AB 1.5 day NP Workshop.

Attendees will gain the theory knowledge for working on Category A and B roads, in this 1.5 day workshop. If you are new to the STMS role it is strongly recommended that you complete the STMS Universal first. If you have held an STMS warrant in the past that has an expiry of more than 12 months, it is also recommended that you complete this workshop before completing any practical training.

This 1 Day Workshop replaces the old TC workshop, and can be used to refresh your TC/TMO qualification to a non practicing level.

This 2 day training block assists trainees to gain the TMO Practising Qualification and unit standard 31960.
